Twitter Reactions to Jaddu’s brutal 37-runs over vs RCB – IPL 2021

The score was 154/4 at the end of CSK’s 19th over. Virat Kohli must be happy at this moment as it was a decent score to chase. They had Harshal Patel to bowl the last over – the bowler who is coming in with a bowling figure of 14/3 in 3 and a purple cap. An ideal cricket situation it was then.

What followed then was a “Whew.. What just happened!?” moment. Ravindra Jadeja, who was denied a ‘two’ in the last ball of the 19th over by the captain Virat himself, retained the strike in the last over. Jadeja slogged the first two balls of Harshal for the maximums. Adding to the worst happening already, the third ball was a no-ball and went for a six. The free hit was again sent for the ropes, and it was a 25-ball fifty for Jaddu.

The batsmen ran for a ‘2’ in the 4th ball, and Jaddu didn’t miss to hit Harshal’s full-toss in the 5th delivery, which once again went over the boundary line.
