Apart from the above 10 players, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have picked up 150 wickets in the league. Ashwin took 175 matches, while Jadeja needed 225 games to complete the milestone.

19.79 is the IPL career bowling average of former Mumbai Indians pacer Lasith Malinga in the league, and this is the lowest for any bowler with a minimum of 100 IPL wickets.

Malinga’s bowling strike rate is 16.6 and is only bettered by Kagiso Rabada, whose strike rate is 15.6, which is the best for a bowler with at least 100 wickets in the IPL. It is to be noted that Rabada was the fastest to breach the 50 scalps (27 games) and 100 dismissals (64 games) landmarks in the league.

Malinga was the first bowler to reach the 150-wicket milestone in the IPL, and he did it in the 2017 edition. He was also the first entrant to the 100-wicket club (back in 2013).

Yuzvendra Chahal has the most wickets in the league with 210 scalps and counting since making his debut in the 2013 edition. (Check out Chahal’s year-by-year performance in the tournament here.)
