Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan, on the other hand, has taken the most innings to aggregate 2500 T20I runs, having reached the mark in 122 innings.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan is the fastest wicketkeeper-batter to accumulate 2500 T20I runs, taking 66 innings to reach the mark.


Record Speed by Time Taken from Debut

Shakib is also the slowest batter to reach 2500 T20I runs in terms of time, having taken 17 years and 199 days from his debut in November 2006. 

Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez follows Shakib, as he needed 15 years and 72 days to accomplish the milestone after his debut in August 2006.

UAE’s Muhammad Waseem is the quickest to 2500 T20I runs by time. He needed three years and 74 days to accomplish the milestone after his debut in October 2021.

India’s Suryakumar Yadav is the other batter to complete 2500 T20I runs within four years. He took three years and 212 days to surpass the mark after his debut in March 2021.
