Jacques Kallis, on the other hand, is the youngest to smash his 40th ton in Tests. He was 35 years and 79 days old at the time.

The South African all-rounder set a record with his 40th century. He became the first South African batter to score centuries in both innings in two Tests. Kallis scored his 39th hundred (161) and 40th hundred (109) against India in the 2011 Cape Town Test. His first instance of this feat (scoring centuries in both innings) was in 2007 against Pakistan, where he scored 155 & 100*.
