They have created a significant impact with the bat, often providing the much-needed performances to ensure a victory. And most of the work was done in the powerplay stages to set up the big score or even chase them down.

So, here are the top 10 highest powerplay scores registered by MI in the history of IPL.

Mumbai Indians registered their highest powerplay figures in the IPL 2018 against Delhi Capitals. Batting first, MI scored 194/7 in 20 overs. 84 of those runs came in the first six overs without a loss of wicket.

MI’s 76 for 2 in the powerplay against Sunrisers Hyderabad propelled them to their first 240-plus total in the IPL. They managed to score 246 for 5, their second-highest team total, in response to SRH’s 277 runs in Hyderabad.

MI have scored 70 or more runs in powerplay overs in 10 innings thus far. Three of those instances came in the 2024 edition, once each against SRH, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Of the above 10 instances, seven came in the second innings, with five of them leading to successful run chases for Mumbai.
