India’s 297 for 6 is their highest T20I total on home soil and the third-highest team total by a Test-playing nation in T20I cricket.
The Men in Blue’s highest team total in overseas T20Is is 283 for 1, registered against South Africa in the 2024 Johannesburg T20I.
The innings against South Africa recorded two individual centuries by Sanju Samson (109*) and Tilak Varma (120*). This was the third instance of two batters scoring centuries in the same T20I innings.
