Kieron Pollard joined the exclusive 100 catches club in IPL 2022, though he took an innings less (187) than Raina (188) to achieve the feat.

Over 23 fielders have taken 50 or more catches in the IPL. AB de Villiers has the best catches per inning ratio of 0.692 among them. Ravichandran Ashwin stands at the extreme end with 0.239 catches per inning.

Among the cricketers with 50+ catches in IPL, only five have completed a double of 1000+ runs and 100+ wickets in the tournament.

Five catches each, taken by Mohammad Nabi and Daryl Mitchell, are the most by a fielder in an innings. Nabi was the first with five grabs versus Mumbai Indians in 2021. Mitchell then imitated him in 2024 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

When it comes to a whole IPL season, AB de Villiers sits at the top. The 2016 edition saw the South African grab 19 catches.

Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, David Miller, and Rohit Sharma have taken 10 or more catches in the IPL playoffs. Raina leads the pack with 20 catches.

Among wicketkeepers, MS Dhoni has grabbed the most catches. He has over 150 grabs with the gloves. Dinesh Karthik follows him with 137 catches.
