IPL is like any other T20 league that is played on a home-and-away basis, and over the years, the teams have played a considerable number of games at home.
This means they know the conditions on that ground inside out, which makes them favourites whenever the game is played in that venue. We need not mention the fact that there will be a great deal of support from the home fans for their respective teams.
So here in this piece, we will see which teams have gained the most by playing at a single venue by winning them more often than not. Here are the IPL teams with the most wins at a single venue.

Key Insights
Mumbai Indians became the first IPL team to win 50 or more matches at any of the IPL venues. The Mumbai-based team registered 50 victories on their home ground, Wankhede Stadium on April 7, 2024.
CSK and KKR are the only sides to feature in the top 10 twice. While CSK won in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, which is an away venue for them, the latter has 10 wins in Bengaluru. The other sides to have 10 or more wins on away-from-home grounds are MI and RR.
CSK’s win/loss ratio of 2.611 at Chepauk is the best for an IPL team, having played at least 25 matches at that ground. The team with the lowest W/L ratio on this list is the Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Barring the new teams, the Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants, every other 8 existing teams have played 50 or more games on their respective home grounds.
