It’s pretty common these days to see batters dominate in limited-overs cricket. But not all days are the same, aren’t they?

We have seen bowlers making inroads and dismantling batting lineups completely. Such collective performances from a bowling side have lit up the ICC Champions Trophy, resulting in batting teams getting all out for paltry scores.

So here are the top 10 instances of the lowest all-out team totals registered in the Champions Trophy.

Key Insights

65: The United States of America (USA) have registered the lowest all-out total in the Champions Trophy. Batting first against a lethal Australian pace attack, the USA slumped to 65 in 24 overs in 2004.

77: Bangladesh’s 77 all-out against New Zealand in 2002 is the lowest team total by a full member in the 50-over event.

19.3: On top of that, New Zealand wrapped up Bangladesh in 19.3 overs, making it the shortest all-out innings in the Champions Trophy.

136: Netherlands’ 136 for 10 is the lowest total by a team after batting the full quota of 50 overs. The European team logged this score against Pakistan in the 2002 edition.

100: Bangladesh is the only team to get bowled out twice below the total of 100 runs in the Champions Trophy.

169: In 2013, England successfully defended the lowest all-out team total in the history of this tournament. They were all-out for 169 runs in a 24-overs-a-side game against New Zealand. Then England held up the Kiwis for 159 for 8 to sneak in a win by 10 runs. In a full-length game (50-over per side), New Zealand’s successful defending of their total of 195 against South Africa (108 all-out) tops the list.
