The Indian duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly own the record for the most 100+ partnerships in ODI cricket, having forged 26 century stands together.
Tendulkar and Ganguly have also scored the most partnership runs together in ODIs, accumulating 8227 runs in 176 innings.
21 of the 26 stands between Tendulkar and Ganguly came for the first wicket, the most by an opening pair in ODIs. Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma follow them with 18 hundred stands.
19 of the 20 partnerships shared between Sri Lanka’s Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara came for the second wicket, the most by a pair in this format.
For the third wicket, Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson forged the most partnerships, with both involved in 13 century stands for New Zealand. Eoin Morgan-Joe Root (12) and Mahela Jayawardene-Kumar Sangakkara (10) are the two other pairs with 10 or more hundred partnerships for the third wicket in ODIs.
Jayawardene and Sangakkara have stitched the most 50 partnerships (50-99) in ODIs, partnering 32 times.
For 50 and over partnerships, Tendulkar and Ganguly again top the chart with 55 such stands in ODIs.
Tendulkar built 10 or more century partnerships with three different partners – Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, and Rahul Dravid – the most by a batter in ODIs.
20 of the 26 century partnerships between Tendulkar and Ganguly came in wins for India, the most by a pair for a team in ODIs.
Andy Flower and Grant Flower are the only sibling pair to have shared more than 10 century stands in ODIs. Seven of those partnerships, though, came in losses for Zimbabwe, the most for a pair in the format.
Five of the 18 partnerships between Virat Kohli and Rohit have been of 200 or more runs, the most by a pair in ODIs.
Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels have shared the highest-ever partnership in ODI cricket, stitching 372 runs together for the second wicket against Zimbabwe in the 2015 World Cup.
