Vanuatu’s Nalin Nipiko has bowled the most expensive over in T20I cricket. Samoa’s Darius Visser clobbered him for 39 runs – six sixes along with three extras (no balls) – in the T20 World Cup regional qualifiers in 2024.
Sri Lanka’s Akila Dananjaya and Gibraltar’s Kabir Mirpuri have delivered the joint-most expensive over by a spinner in T20Is, having conceded 36 runs against Kieron Pollard and Manan Bashir, respectively.
New Zealand’s Daryl Tuffey was the first bowler to concede 30 runs in an over in T20Is. Australia’s Ricky Ponting hammered him for those many runs in the first-ever T20I match in 2005.
Batters to Hit Six Sixes in a Single T20I Over
