Rahmat Shah: The Record-Breaker
Rahmat Shah stands as the leading run-scorer for Afghanistan in Tests and was the first to score 500 runs for the country in the format.
He also brought up the first-ever Test century for Afghanistan, scoring 102 runs against Bangladesh in the 2019 Chattogram Test. This knock contributed to Afghanistan’s largest Test victory by runs.

Hashmatullah Shahidi’s Landmark Achievements

He holds the record for the highest individual score, smashing 246 runs against Zimbabwe in the 2024 Bulawayo Test. This captain’s knock propelled Afghanistan to their highest Test total of 699 all out.
