Lasith Malinga has picked up the most wickets against CSK in the IPL. The former Mumbai Indians pacer has 31 scalps to his name against Chennai.
Spinners have found more success against CSK in the IPL. There are 13 bowlers with 15 or more wickets against CSK, and eight of them are spinners.
Sohail Tanvir’s figures of 6 for 14 are the best against the Super Kings in IPL history. He zipped through CSK’s half of the lineup while bowling for Rajasthan Royals in a 2008 game.
Harbhajan Singh is the only other bowler with a five-wicket haul versus Chennai in the league. He delivered the figures of 5 for 18 in the 2011 season.
Rahul Chahar has the best economy rate of 6.14 among the bowlers who have taken 10 or more wickets against CSK.
