Leading Run Scorers and Individual Batting Records
Lhuan-dre Pretorius of Paarl Royals (PR) topped the run charts in the SA20 2025 season, aggregating 397 runs in 12 innings during his debut season.
Pretorius’ 397 runs stand as the fifth-highest by a batter in a single edition of the SA20.
The highest individual score of the edition was recorded by Pretorius, who smashed 97 runs from 51 balls against Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC) on his debut.
Joe Root (92* for PR) and Rassie van der Dussen (91* for MICT) were the only other batters to surpass the 90-run mark in the third season. It is so far the only no-century season for the tournament.
Rubin Hermann, Ryan Rickelton, Joe Root, Lhuan-dre Pretorius, and Aiden Markram each registered three 50-plus knocks during the season.
