100 wickets in a tournament like IPL is not an easy task as it needs the bowler to be consistent and at the top of his form throughout the seasons. Very few bowlers have mastered the uphill task of bowling in the T20 format against some of the world-beaters in batting.

Kagiso Rabada, the South African pacer, is the fastest to attain 100 IPL Wickets. He reached the milestone in 64 matches. Rabada is also the fastest to 50 scalps (27 matches) in the league.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel are the joint-fastest Indians to reach 100 wickets in IPL. Both took 81 innings to reach the triple digits in wickets, followed by Amit Mishra and Ashish Nehra in 83.

Mishra is also the joint-fastest spinner, along with Rashid Khan, to reach the landmark in the tournament. Both are leg spinners.

Ashish Nehra tops the chart for any left-handed bowlers in the Indian Premier League.

The South African legend Dale Steyn retired with 97 wickets in his 95-match career. The pacer would have easily made this list if he could reach the magical number.
