Virat Kohli is the only batter to score five or more centuries in three different overseas countries. He has six tons in Bangladesh and five each in Australia and Sri Lanka.

Four of Kumar Sangakkara’s five hundreds in Australia came in back-to-back ODI innings. This is the most consecutive ODI centuries by a batter in an overseas nation. He achieved this feat during the 2015 Cricket World Cup, making it the most consecutive hundreds in the tournament.

In the same World Cup, Chris Gayle hammered 215 runs against Zimbabwe in Canberra, the highest individual score in an overseas ODI innings.

Fakhar Zaman (in Zimbabwe), Ishan Kishan (in Bangladesh), and Glenn Maxwell (in India) are the other batters to score ODI double centuries in an overseas country.

Five ODI centuries each by Sourav Ganguly and Ricky Ponting in South Africa are the most by a captain in a foreign country.

Quinton de Kock’s six hundreds in India are the most by a wicketkeeper in an overseas country in ODIs.

Overall, Tendulkar is the top run-getter and century-scorer in away ODIs. He aggregated 11,450 runs and 29 hundreds in 299 overseas ODIs for India.
