When it comes to hitting the most sixes in the IPL, then by default, a few faces start to revolve before the eyes. Like MS Dhoni, AB de Villiers, Kieron Pollard, and Andre Russell.

So, who are the other important finishers in the league?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni tops the list with a tally of more than 60 sixes in the 20th over. He is the first and currently the only batter to hit 50+ sixes in the final over of IPL matches.

Dhoni also tops the list of run-scorers in the final over of the IPL tournament. He has scored 800+ runs in the 20th over, with no other batter crossing 500.

Sir Ravindra Jadeja, who is up there with 30+ sixes, is also among the batters to hit five maximums in a single over in the IPL. Interestingly, all sixes came in the 20th over. Rinku Singh is the other batter to smash five maximums in the last over in an IPL innings. He did so against Gujarat Titans in a 2023 game.

Rohit Sharma, one of the most successful skipper in the league, is the only top-order batsman on the list, with over 23 sixes.
