The Mumbai Indians (MI) are unarguably the most successful franchise in IPL history. They have won five trophies, out of which two have been in succession (2018 and 2019).

Dwayne Bravo and Mohit Sharma happen to be the most successful bowlers against MI in terms of wickets taken. Both have picked as many as 33 wickets against MI. Interestingly, both had stints with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), the arch-rivals of MI. (Read about some of their epic clashes here.)

Sharma has also registered the best bowling figures against MI in the IPL. And his figures of 5 for 10 couldn’t have come at a better time than the 2023 Qualifier 2 game.

Andre Russell, Harshal Patel, and Sandeep Sharma are the other three bowlers with a five-wicket haul each against Mumbai.

Sharma and Patel also have a four-wicket haul each on top of the five-fors. Sunil Narine is the other bowler with two four-fors against MI.

Rashid Khan has the best economy rate versus Mumbai among the bowlers with 10 or more wickets. He concedes six runs on average per over against them.
