Rohit Sharma has played against all 15 teams that have participated in the IPL since 2008, though he has batted against 14 of them. He never got the opportunity to bat against Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the solitary 2011 game.

Sharma seems to like to bat against both these teams. His highest score of 109 not out came versus KKR in 2012. Even in the boundary count, he has struck more than 100 fours against KKR. When it comes to DC, the right-hander has smashed approx. 17 percent of his career IPL sixes against them.
Apart from these two opponents, Sharma enjoys batting against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL. He has accrued 972 runs, including a hundred and eight half-centuries, against CSK.
But the Mumbai batter has also scored the joint-most ducks (4) against Chennai. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are the other two teams against whom he has four ducks each.
Sharma averaged 87.50 against his former team, Deccan Chargers. This is his best average against a team he has scored at least 150 runs.
The former Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper strikes above 140 against three teams – Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, and Punjab Kings.
