We all know big hitters or batters who like to strike a lot of sixes are a great boon to a team. And they are one of the important shining lights in their success.
At the same time, they also light up the competition and make people come in numbers to witness the game.
So here are the top 10 six-hitters in the SA20 – the premier T20 league of South Africa.

Heinrich Klaasen was the first batter to smash 50 sixes in SA20 history. He hits an average of two sixes per innings.
Sherfane Rutherford, Ryan Rickelton, Shai Hope, and Will Jacks are the other batters who score an average of two sixes per innings in SA20 (minimum 10 sixes).
Klaasen scored 37 sixes in 13 innings in the 2024 edition, the most by a batter in a single SA20 season.
Rickelton is the only batter to hit more than 40 sixes at a single ground in SA20, having achieved the feat at the Newlands in Cape Town.
Rickelton has smashed the most sixes in a single innings, hammering 11 in his 113-run knock for MI Cape Town (MICT) against Durban’s Super Giants (DSG) in the 2025/26 season opener.
Rickelton and Jacks are the two batters to hit eight or more sixes in an innings two times in SA20.
Ricketon is the lone batter to strike 100-plus fours and 50-plus sixes in SA20 history.
Rickelton is the only batter to smash more than 20 sixes against two opponent teams in SA20, having done so against DSG and Joburg Super Kings.
Faf du Plessis, Aiden Markram, and David Miller have hit more than 30 sixes as captains in SA20.
Rickelton and Rassie van der Dussen are the two openers with more than 50 sixes in SA20.
Rickelton is thus far the only wicketkeeper-batter to score more than 50 sixes in SA20.
