Kyle Verreynne holds the record for the highest individual score in SA20 history with 116*. He achieved this score for Pretoria Capitals against MI Cape Town at Centurion in 2024.

SuperSport Park in Centurion has hosted four centuries, making it the most prolific venue.

No player managed to score a century during the entire 2025 season.

Aiden Markram is the only player to score a century during the knockout stages. He scored exactly 100 runs, while batting first, in the 2023 semi-final for Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

Most centuries in the league have been scored by players batting first. Will Jacks, Heinrich Klaasen, and Jordan Hermann all reached their milestones in the first innings.

Faf du Plessis and Ryan Rickelton are among the few who have scored hundreds while chasing.

Chasing a century is less common in this tournament.

Remarkable 90s and Near-Century Milestones in SA20

Ryan Rickelton, the leading run-scorer in the tournament, has famously missed out on centuries multiple times, including scores of 98, 94*, and 90. Ryan also has a 89 and 87, all playing for MI Cape Town.

Lhuan-dre Pretorius fell just short of a debut hundred twice when he was dismissed for 97 in 2025 and stayed not-out in his unbeaten 98 in 2026.

Quinton de Kock recorded a high score of 88 while playing for Durban’s Super Giants in the inaugural season.

Aiden Markram also posted a score of 82 in 2025, further highlighting the season of near-misses.

These “honorable 90s” were a major theme during the 2025 season which saw zero centuries.
