5: Only 5 teams have managed to successfully chase 350+ totals in ODI cricket, which depicts that chasing huge scores is not an easy thing.

1: South Africa became the first team to gun down a 350-plus target in the 50-over format. In what was a run-fest in Johannesburg, Australia put up 434/4 while batting first, and in a matter of a few hours, South Africa (438/8) went past the huge target successfully in an iconic match in the history of ODI cricket.

400: Moreover, this was also the first time that a team chased down a 400+ target in ODIs. And this remains the highest ODI score while chasing a target.

175: This is the highest individual score in a 350-plus run chase, and it was achieved by none other than South Africa’s Herschelle Gibbs off 111 balls in the above match. 

15: India is the only team that has chased down 350+ scores twice in a span of 15 days. Both of them came against Australia in the 2013 7-match ODI series.

Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium witnessed the first chase of 360 on October 16th, which was also India’s first 350-plus successful chase in the ODI format. While the second one came in Nagpur on October 30th, where Australia had set a target of 351 runs.

3: 2019 alone witnessed 3 run chases of 350+ scores, of which 2 were achieved by England against the West Indies and Pakistan. The remaining one was conquered by Australia against India in Mohali.
