Even though he has only one 40+ average season throughout his IPL career, the hitman has been at his best when hitting those over-the-ropes boundaries. He is the leading Indian player to hit the most sixes in IPL.
Rohit Sharma, the man with the most centuries in T20 Internationals, has only two centuries in the IPL. The Mumbai batsman’s first IPL century came against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2012 and the recent one came in the 2024 edition.
Rohit also became the first-ever player to score more than 1000 runs against a single team in the IPL when he crossed the landmark four-digit total against KKR.

In bowling, Rohit has picked up 15 wickets in the tournament. Fourteen of those came during his first three years playing for Deccan Chargers. His best bowling figures are 4 for 6 for Deccan.
His record-breaking performances and consistency make him one of the most impactful IPL players in history.
