Abhishek Sharma of India and Tim Seifert of New Zealand have each hit 22 sixes in T20I cricket till now in 2025, the most by any batter in the format. In 2024, UAE’s Muhammad Waseem led the six-hitting charts by smashing 55 maximums in the 26 innings he batted, which is 6 less than the Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav’s all time record of 68 sixes in 2022.
135 batters have opened their six account in T20Is in 2025, and 31 of them have struck at least 5 or more sixes in the calendar year.
Abhishek Sharma’s 13 sixes against England at Wankhede, while scoring India’s highest individual T20I score, are the most sixes hit by any batter in a single T20I this year. He is followed by Hungary’s Sheikh Rasik, who bludgeoned 12 sixes against Malta.
There are 15 other instances of a player scoring 5 or more sixes in a single T20I match in 2025. Along with Tim Seifert, both Abhishek and Rasik have achieved this feat twice in the year.
