Leading Six Hitters in Shortest Format in 2026
On his return to the Indian team, Ishan Kishan completed 50 sixes in the T20I format. (13th Indian player to do so)
Quinton de Kock smashed 10 sixes in his 115 off 49 balls against the West Indies in Centurion. This is the joint third-most sixes hit by a wicketkeeper-batter in a T20I innings.
Likewise, Kishan struck the joint third-most sixes by a No. 3 batter, scoring 10 during his 103-run knock against New Zealand in Thiruvananthapuram. This is also the joint-most sixes by a No. 3 Indian batter in a T20I innings.
New Zealand’s Glenn Phillips smashed his 100th T20I six during the series against India in January. This made him just the third New Zealand batter to score 100 sixes in this format after Martin Guptill and Colin Munro.
Finn Allen and Tim Seifert have a chance to join Phillips in the 100 sixes club for New Zealand this year.
Abhishek Sharma is also on his way to 100 T20I sixes. He could become just the fifth Indian to breach the mark and might be the fastest to get there in terms of innings played.
