Abhishek Sharma has become the first batter to cross 20 sixes this year. His 22 maximums came in the five-match T20I series against England earlier in the year, which is the most by an Indian batter in a bilateral T20I series. 

And Sharma hammered 13 of those in the fifth match, making it the most sixes by an Indian batter in a T20I innings. In the same match, the left-hand opener accumulated 135 runs to log the highest individual T20I score for India.

19 sixes smashed by Hungary’s Sheikh Rasik are the fourth-most by a batter in a triangular T20I series. Rasik slammed those maximums in four innings during the Malta Tri-Nation T20I series.

Azmatullah Omarzai ended his maiden Champions Trophy with eight sixes in three matches. This is the fourth-most sixes smashed by a batter in a Champions Trophy edition.
